I feel like I spent 4 1/2 years in college only to forget basically everything I learned after the tests, just like in high school.  I definitely grew up a lot in the process, but did I have to take out tens of thousands of dollars in loans to mature?  And now I have a degree that’s kind of hard for me to use in life and I am trying to find a job so I can save money and move.  I could have found a job, saved money, and already been in New York City by now if I had not gone to college.  But the thought of doing that used to put me in a panic because college had been drilled into my skull for my whole life.  Basically, I didn’t realize how much I didn’t need a degree until I got one.
