foxy… you are one of my favorite bands of all time, ever. your music brings my joy out my goddamn eyeballs and i have seen you like three times, own your merch and wear it publicly, and tell literally everyone i fucking talk to about how amazing you are.
but you’re making it hard to be a public fan when you pull shit like this. how am i supposed to tell everyone i know to look you up when i know they’ll find this video? a band of mostly white guys with an army/harem of black people as dancers, servants and chauffeurs? fetishizing and stereotyping black women’s bodies? calling the woman in question “gangsta”? literally admitting to having to hide your creepiness when you watch from a distance?
THANK FUCK I have been trying to put this sentiment into words for a long time now and this person put it more succinctly than I ever could. Favorite band, why do you have to keep pulling this racist shit? I love you, but you make it hard.
